Case study

More than 20 leads a day from paid search

One of the EV charger installers we support runs a large Google Ads account, and it brings in more than 20 leads a day. That’s volume most installers would struggle to call back, let alone survey.

Numbers like that don’t come from the ads alone. They come from a few things working together: campaigns aimed at people who are ready to book, landing pages that answer the questions a driver has before fitting a charger, and forms that collect what the surveyor needs, so the team isn’t chasing details later.

It’s the same set-up we bring to every installer we work with, scaled to your area and your budget.

The problem

Drivers are offered a charger before they ever search for one

Most new EV drivers hear about home charging from the dealer that sold them the car, or from their energy supplier. Both will happily book an installer for them at a fixed price. If you’re an independent installer, you’re competing for the drivers who look further, and for the businesses that need more than a single wall box.

Those people check you out online. They want to know you’re properly qualified, that you’ve fitted chargers at homes and car parks like theirs, what it will really cost and how soon you can come out. Your website has to answer all of that quickly, or they go back to the installer the dealer suggested.

What we fix

Three things most charger installer websites get wrong

We build and market sites that win the comparison and turn interest into booked surveys and site visits.

verified_user

Proof you’re the real thing

OZEV authorisation, your competent person scheme, insurance and the charger brands you’re approved to fit, shown where people look. Real installs with photos your team took, not stock shots of someone else’s driveway.

Claims that stand up

Running costs, grant amounts and green claims written so they persuade without inviting a complaint. Grants in particular date fast. Read the rules.

task_alt

Enquiries you can quote from

Forms that ask about parking, the property and the fuse board, with room for photos, so many home jobs can be priced without a visit and surveys go to the jobs that need one.

Who we help

Every part of the charging market

A single wall box on a driveway and forty sockets in a depot are different sales. The buyer, the questions and the paperwork all change, so we build for each one differently.

Who we’re right for. Established installation companies with qualified electricians, a diary to fill and a plan to grow. If you’re a one-person business, we’re probably not the right fit just yet.

Home chargers

Flats, renters and landlords

Leaseholders, tenants and landlords, where permissions and the remaining grants shape the sale.

Workplace and commercial

Offices, hotels and retail sites wanting staff and visitor charging, often with load management.

local_shipping

Fleets and depots

Van and car fleets moving to electric, where grid capacity and downtime matter more than the charger brand.

Developers and new builds

Housebuilders and commercial developers who need Part S met across a whole site.

The rules

Grant and running cost claims can catch you out

The OZEV chargepoint grants are in their final year and close on 31 March 2027. Any page still promoting them after that is making a misleading claim. Pence per mile figures, “zero emission” wording and smart charging promises all need the same care.

Since April 2025 the Competition and Markets Authority can fine businesses directly for misleading consumers, so this is no longer just a matter for the ASA.

Questions

Questions installers ask us

Something else on your mind? A free review call is the quickest way to get a straight answer.

No. We work across several sectors, but EV charging is one we know well, and our biggest paid search account in the sector is a charger installer. You won’t be paying us to learn how the industry works.

Yes. Plenty of installers sell all three, and the site should make it easy to buy one or the lot. We also work with solar and battery installers on their own.

Grants help, but they shouldn’t hold up your whole site. We keep grant messages on their own dated pages so they can come down cleanly in April 2027, and build the rest around the reasons people buy anyway: cheaper charging at home, Part S on new builds and fleets going electric.

Yes. Most of our installer work is national. Discovery calls, design reviews and reporting all happen over Zoom, and you deal with the same people from start to finish.

Most installer websites come in between £3,000 and £4,000, depending on your requirements. Larger builds, grant checkers or integrations cost more. You’ll have a fixed quote before anything starts.

Book A Call

No pitch. No pressure.

We don’t do discovery calls designed to wear you down until you sign something. This is a straightforward conversation between two businesses. We ask the right questions, listen properly and tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

If we are, you’ll go away knowing exactly what a partnership with TWA looks like and, more importantly, how it can benefit your business. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too.

We’d rather turn down the wrong work than take on a client we can’t genuinely help scale.
