Online shops that are easy to buy from
A shop that looks lovely but makes people hunt for delivery costs doesn’t sell much. We build WooCommerce shops on WordPress with the dull stuff done properly. Clear product pages. A checkout that doesn’t ask for things it doesn’t need. Stock, shipping and payments that work the way your business does.
It’s the part of our website design services where small details make the biggest difference to what you take each month.

What we build
Product structure
Categories and filters that match how customers shop, which isn’t always how the stockroom labels things.
Product pages
Good photos, clear prices, delivery details and answers to the questions people email you about.
Checkout and payments
Card payments, wallets and the providers you already use, set up and tested. Short, because every extra field loses people.
Links to your systems
Stock feeds, accounts packages and marketplaces. Where no extension fits, bespoke development fills the gap.
Why WooCommerce
Your shop and content in one place
WooCommerce is free, open-source software that runs inside WordPress. Products, pages and blog all live together, edited in the same place.
No platform lock-in
You’re not tied to one company’s platform or pricing, and there’s an extension for most things a shop needs.
Properly looked after
The trade-off is that it needs decent hosting and regular updates. That’s why we pair shops with managed hosting and a care plan.

Built for the way you sell
No two shops run the same way. One sells a hundred products that never change. Another has thousands of variations, trade customers on different prices and stock spread across two warehouses. The build has to fit the business, not the other way round.
So we start with how orders actually move today. Where stock is counted, how shipping is priced, who packs, what happens with returns, which payment methods your customers expect. That shapes the product structure, the checkout and the integrations.
We also plan for the people adding products. If someone in the office will be uploading fifty new lines a month, the product template needs to make that quick and hard to get wrong.
After launch, the real work starts. Shops improve by watching where people drop out. A confusing filter, a surprise delivery charge at checkout, a product page missing the one detail people want. We can keep an eye on that with you and fix what gets in the way.
What you get
- ✓Category and product structure planned with you

Cost and timescales
Ecommerce builds usually start at £6,000 to £8,000 and rise with the size of the catalogue and the number of systems involved.
Timescales follow our usual rule. Under 30 pages, six to eight weeks. Bigger, nine to twelve. Product pages count, so a decent-sized catalogue pushes it into the longer bracket. More on our website pricing page.
Running costs are worth planning for too. Payment fees, extension licences, hosting and maintenance all add to the monthly figure, and we’ll set them out before you commit.
Both are good platforms. Shopify is simpler to run and charges a monthly subscription plus transaction fees. WooCommerce gives you more control and no lock-in, but it needs looking after. We’ll talk through which suits the way you work.
Yes. Product and category addresses almost always change, so each one needs redirecting. Our website migration service handles that, so the new shop doesn’t start from nothing in Google.
Yes. That’s the whole point. We’ll show you how at handover.
Product and category pages get proper titles, descriptions and structure from the start. After launch, our SEO services can take it further.
Yes, usually with an established extension, set up so trade customers see their own prices when they log in.
We set up rates by weight, value, zone or a flat fee, whichever matches how you actually charge. Couriers’ own extensions can be added where they’re available.
It’s possible on WooCommerce with the right extensions, but it’s a much bigger project. We’d scope it carefully before quoting.
Yes. Both are available as WooCommerce extensions, and we’ll check they fit how you want to charge before recommending one.
Usually, yes. Most platforms export products as a spreadsheet, which can be cleaned up and imported. Images and descriptions sometimes need extra work.

Book A Call
No pitch. No pressure.
We don’t do discovery calls designed to wear you down until you sign something. This is a straightforward conversation between two businesses. We ask the right questions, listen properly and tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
If we are, you’ll go away knowing exactly what a partnership with TWA looks like and, more importantly, how it can benefit your business. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too.
We’d rather turn down the wrong work than take on a client we can’t genuinely help scale.
