Make every page clear about what it’s for
On-page SEO is the work done on the pages themselves. Choosing which search each page should target, then making sure the title, headings, copy and links all back that up.
It’s not glamorous. Get it wrong and the rest of your SEO has nothing to stand on.

What we optimise
Titles and descriptions
Google may rewrite titles and often builds snippets from page text, but a clear version gives you the best shot at the click. How Google uses title tags explains more.
Headings and structure
One clear H1, sensible subheadings and copy that gets to the point. That helps someone scanning on a phone as much as it helps Google.
Internal links
Links between your pages show which ones matter and how they fit together. Internal linking explained sets out a simple method.
Images
Sensible file names, descriptive alt text and images sized for the web.
Structured data
Schema markup for your business, services and articles where it’s relevant.
Copy
Clear, specific wording that matches how your customers describe what they need.
Keyword research and mapping
Find the searches
Search Console shows what you already appear for. Keyword tools show the wider picture. Your sales calls show the words people really use.
Give each one a home
Each important search gets one page that owns it. Two pages chasing the same search end up competing with each other.
Fill the gaps
Searches with no matching page go into a content strategy, so new pages get planned around them.

Small changes, real difference
On-page work is often the quickest SEO win on a business site. Titles that say “Home” or “Services”. Three pages all chasing the same search. A service page with no mention of the town you work in. These are simple to fix and they matter.
It’s also where the words your customers use meet the words your business uses. A firm might call it “commercial interior fit-out” while customers search for “office refurbishment”. Matching that language is often worth more than any technical trick.
We keep the copy readable throughout. Stuffing a page with keywords makes it worse for people and doesn’t fool Google.
Every change gets recorded, too. You’ll see what each page said before and after, so if rankings move you know why, and if you ever want something back, it’s there.
And we work with whatever you’ve got. On a site we didn’t build, we’ll make changes through your editor where we can, and brief your developer where we can’t.
What you get
- ✓A keyword map showing which page owns which search
- ✓Titles, descriptions and headings rewritten where needed
- ✓Internal links added between related pages
- ✓Image and structured data fixes
Where it fits
On-page work usually follows an SEO audit. Problems with crawling or speed go to our technical SEO work instead.
On-page work is quoted on the number of pages and how much needs rewriting. It’s often the first piece of work after an audit.
One main search, plus the close variations that mean the same thing. If two searches need different answers, they need different pages.
Yes. On-page changes are mostly content and settings, so they work on almost any platform.
Google has to recrawl a page before a change counts, and how long that takes depends on how often it visits your site. The SEO guide explains how crawling works.
Where it’s needed. Often it’s a new title, a clearer heading and a few changed paragraphs rather than a full rewrite.
No. Google doesn’t use the meta keywords tag for ranking.
Not on its own. A page needs to cover what the searcher wants to know. Sometimes that’s short, sometimes it’s long.
Only where location matters to the search. A service you provide locally should mention where. A general guide doesn’t need to.
Often, yes. Posts that already get some traffic can climb further with better titles, updated information and internal links.
Yes. Service pages that mention where you work, with your address and contact details easy to find, support your local visibility.

If we are, you’ll go away knowing exactly what a partnership with TWA looks like and, more importantly, how it can benefit your business. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too.
We’d rather turn down the wrong work than take on a client we can’t genuinely help scale.
