Find out what’s holding your site back
Before anyone spends a penny on SEO, someone should look at the site properly. An audit tells you what’s stopping it ranking, what’s already working and what to fix first.
It’s where our SEO campaigns start, and it’s useful on its own if you just want to know where you stand.

What we check
Indexing
We crawl the site like a search engine and compare it with what Search Console says Google has indexed. Blocked pages, broken links and redirect chains show up here.
Technical health
Speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, HTTPS, structured data, sitemaps and robots.txt.
On-page basics
Titles, descriptions, headings and internal links, page by page.
Content gaps
Which searches your pages could answer, and where pages are missing. A missing service page is often the biggest opportunity.
Local visibility
Your Google Business Profile, consistent business details across the web, and how location pages are handled.
Competitors and trust
What the sites above you do differently, plus reviews, contact details, privacy notices and advertising claims.
How it works
Access
Ideally we get Search Console and Analytics access. We can audit from the outside, but those show us what Google actually sees and which pages bring in enquiries.
Review
We work through the site and score each area, recording the evidence behind every finding.
Report
A plain-English report with quick wins first, then the bigger jobs, each ranked by impact and effort.
Next steps
Fix things in-house, hand them to your developer or ask us. Technical fixes go into our technical SEO work, and content gaps feed a content strategy.

Why audit first
SEO without an audit is guesswork. You might spend months writing blog posts while half your service pages are blocked from Google, or chase backlinks while the site takes eight seconds to load on a phone.
An audit puts the work in the right order. Some problems are quick to fix and hold everything else back. Others matter less than they look. Knowing which is which saves money and time.
It also gives you a baseline. Whoever does the work afterwards, you’ll know where the site started and can see whether it’s improving.
We also explain the findings. A list of two hundred warnings from an automated tool isn’t much use to a business owner. A short list of what matters, in plain English, with the reasoning behind it, is.
And we’re honest about what we find. If the site’s in decent shape and the real problem is elsewhere, like the offer, the pricing or the reviews, we’ll say so.
What you get
- ✓A scored report in plain English
- ✓Quick wins you can act on straight away
- ✓A ranked list of bigger jobs
- ✓The evidence behind each finding

Search Console is free and shows a lot of this. Our guide to SEO for business websites is a good place to start, and how Google uses title tags and meta descriptions covers one of the quickest wins there is.
The audit is priced on the size of the site and how deep it needs to go. We’ll confirm the cost before we start.
Yes. It tells you which pages are worth protecting, which is the most important part of a website migration.
It helps a lot, but it isn’t essential. Read-only access to Search Console and Analytics is enough.
Yes, for businesses that serve an area. If that’s your main focus, see our local SEO page.
It depends on the size of the site. We’ll give you a timescale when we quote.
We look at competitors as part of every audit, from the outside. We can’t see their Search Console or analytics, but we can see a lot.
No. Tools are useful for spotting issues, but they can’t tell you which ones matter for your business. An audit adds the judgement.
A full audit is worth doing before any big change and every year or so. In between, keeping an eye on Search Console catches most problems.
Yes, if you want it. The crawl data and exports can come with the report for your developer or in-house team.
Yes. A shop’s category pages, a set of location pages or a blog can be audited on their own.

No pitch. No pressure.
We don’t do discovery calls designed to wear you down until you sign something. This is a straightforward conversation between two businesses. We ask the right questions, listen properly and tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
If we are, you’ll go away knowing exactly what a partnership with TWA looks like and, more importantly, how it can benefit your business. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too.
We’d rather turn down the wrong work than take on a client we can’t genuinely help scale.
